Objective of the position:
The objective of the position is the assured, cost-optimized, and timely procurement of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and operating supplies for production at the Hamminkeln site.
In close cooperation with production, quality management, and other departments, the position ensures stable material availability, efficient purchasing processes, and a sustainable supplier structure.
This is your job:
- Responsibility for the timely, cost-optimized procurement of raw materials, auxiliary materials, and operating supplies
- Demand determination and disposition via ERP in close coordination with production
- Operational interface for the implementation of cross-group purchasing strategies in cooperation with the strategic purchasing department of the Mühldorfer Group
- Active supplier management including price and condition negotiations as well as deadline monitoring
- Co-organization and preparation of supplier and annual meetings
- Support for the procurement of private label products including assistance with calculations
- Complaint processing in cooperation with QM/QS
- Maintenance of supplier and article master data as well as invoice verification
- Participation in purchasing-related projects and support for internal interfaces
What you bring:
- Completed commercial training with relevant further education or a degree in economics
- Many years of professional experience in purchasing, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Structured, reliable, and organized way of working
- Team spirit, initiative, and a sense of responsibility
